The L.I.T. (Local In Training) House is an immersive living experience for Black women who want to explore living abroad while being fully supported and guided by Overseas With Ease. This program is designed to provide houseguests with a unique opportunity to live and learn about different cultures, languages, and lifestyles.
By providing comprehensive support and guidance, we aim to create a safe and supportive environment where participants can learn, grow, and thrive. With The L.I.T. House, we hope to inspire and empower Black women to live overseas fearlessly and living free.

The L.I.T. House runs for three weeks, and participants will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of destinations that have existing Black expat communities. The program will begin with an orientation session where participants will meet their host and receive a comprehensive guide to living abroad.
Throughout their stay, participants will engage in various cultural activities such as language classes, overnight excursions, and guided tours of the city. Additionally, they will have access to weekly strategy sessions with the host to discuss their experience and receive guidance on how to navigate the challenges of living abroad.
At the end of the program, participants will have gained valuable knowledge and skills that will enable them to live and thrive in a new culture. They will leave with a network of connections, friends, and mentors who will continue to support them in their journey as global citizens.

What do I need to prepare for a call?
The call is to help us help you in your temporary relocation planning and to make sure you are a good fit for the House. To prepare for the call, we encourage you to know or be able to do these three things:
Be able to spend at least 21 days outside of the US.
Speak candidly and honestly about your needs (personal space, fears, living preferences, etc.).
Be financially prepared to make a commitment within 30 days.

Do I choose the city I want to live in?
Yes! We have several options to choose from in different countries and cities abroad. In 2024, you can choose to stay at one of the L.I.T. Houses available in:

Lisbon, Portugal
You can join the waitlist for correspondence of new House locations.
Does All-inclusive include flights?
No. All-inclusive is for your housing only, but it does include airport transfer to The L.I.T. House and transportation during lessons around town during lessons. For a full list of inclusive benefits, click HERE.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE L.I.T. HOUSE AND OVERSEAS WITH EASE?
The L.I.T. House provides Black women with a planned and structured overseas experience featuring all-inclusive accommodations and a built-in community in specific locations with specific dates of stay.
Overseas with Ease is a structured self-paced program that helps you develop your own relocation plan to move to any country of choice, at any time, and for as long as you want.
